Delighted Shadowbox Cards® with Light Take Off

ATLANTA – Up With Paper, the original pop-up greeting card company, announced two expansions of its Delighted Shadowbox Cards line during the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. First introduced with 14 everyday designs in 2019 at the inaugural Noted greeting card expo, the Delighted line will expand in 2020 with additional everyday designs, a summer promotional program, and a Christmas program.

The Delighted Shadowbox Cards line is the first greeting card line to combine the popular shadowbox cards format with pop-ups and push-button light effects. The 5.5” x 6.5” pop-up greeting cards feature interior LED lights nestled within trendy artistic scenes. Composed of die-cut layers and a shadowbox silhouette, the designers behind the cards have explored a wide variety of lighting techniques and specialty finishes, according to Monika Brandrup, Up With Paper’s VP and Creative Director. “We’ve also added premium features such as Pantone Ink and Metallic foils to make our concepts just that more impactful,” she said.

Merchandised with open samples using the company’s custom clips that fit into custom spinners as well as standard greeting card channels, the line makes a significant statement at retail. The new summer and Christmas Delighted programs will also be available in the company’s unique Roll-up Corrugate floor display.

Following the successful launch of the line exclusively in specialty independent stores, Delighted will be expanding into key national retailers like The Fresh Market and Papyrus in 2020.
