MASON, OH — Jumping Jack Press, the pop-up book imprint of pop-up greeting card leader Up With Paper, swept the top two awards in the Book Arts/Pop-Up/Cut-Out category of the 2020 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards, receiving Gold for Flora: A Botanical Pop-Up Book, and Silver for The Easter Unicorn: A Magical Pop-Up Book.
The Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards bring increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators and are dedicated to supporting childhood literacy and life-long reading. The juried competition is open to authors, illustrators, and publishers of children’s books written in English or Spanish for the North American market, and regularly receives more than 1000 entries across all categories.
Flora: A Botanical Pop-Up Book is the third installment of Jumping Jack Press’ Everyday book series featuring the four seasons, designed and paper engineered by Yoojin Kim, and illustrated by Kathryn Selbert.
