UWP Luxe, the boutique line of pop-up greeting cards from Up With Paper, had a big night again at this year’s LOUIE Awards, the Greeting Card Association’s annual event honoring the best designs in the industry. Following up the “Card of the Year” honors awarded to the brand the last two years, UWP Luxe won an industry-leading six LOUIEs in the everyday award categories for 2019, including both LOUIEs in the most highly competitive birthday Under $5.00 retail price category
The UWP Luxe Dear Alchemy line was introduced to much success in 2018, capped with the “Card of the Year” LOUIE for its Floral Envelope designs, which has now been viewed more than 2 million times. The line had a very strong sophomore year at the LOUIEs, winning the General Birthday and Humorous Birthday awards in the Under $5.00 category, as well as in the Friendship/Encouragement and LGBTQ categories and has won an incredible eight LOUIE Awards in just two years.

The UWP Luxe Layers line, featuring a patented laser- and die-cut paper laying technique, secured two LOUIEs this year, in the Above $5.00 Sympathy and Thank You categories.
The LGBTQ LOUIE win marks the lines third consecutive win in this growing category, following LOUIEs in 2018 for another Dear Alchemy design, and in 2017 by a Layers design.
